WWE: Brand E (Part I)
by Nuhagojo

January 30, 2017 edition of MONDAY NIGHT RAW

After three consecutive weeks of losing to the New Day - first Xavier Woods, then Big E, and finally Kofi Kingston, Titus O'Neil pours all his energies into formulating a plan for revenge. And the plot he has hatched is not only incredibly devious, but all but totally disastrous for the New Day!

The New Day have just gained a tag-team victory over the Shining Stars - after a Big Ending and a pin from Big E - when O'Neil storms the ring and takes over the show.

He angrily addresses the crowd. "All you people are probably thinking the New Day's got my number," he says accusingly. "Well, the number's once again unlisted...because I've got a new partner, and together we are going to destroy the New Day!"

Xavier Woods is not impressed. "Strong words, Titus. Who, exactly, is this marvelous partner of yours?"

On cue, all three members of the goofy tag team begin hooting like owls: "HOO! HOO! HOO! HOO! HOO! HOO! HOO!"

But without warning, Big E stops smiling. "I'll show you who."

To the dismay and disgust of everyone watching, Big E delivers a Big Ending to both Woods and Kingston before leaving with O'Neil!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
February 6: The next week, Big E agrees to publicly account for his treacherous actions. He comes to the ring with Titus, both of them dressed in buttoned white shirts, black slacks, and silk neckties. Titus is silent as his new protégé remorselessly addresses the crowd.

"I suppose I owe everyone an explanation for my actions last week. How could I turn against Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods - two men who have been my friends for so long, who've been like my brothers? Well...one day I just happened to wake up, and I realized that Kofi and Xavier weren't truly my friends. How could I possibly consider them my friends...if all this time, they had been KEEPING ME POOR?!"

This last sentence elicits a loud chorus of boos from the crowd. But Big E is unfazed, and continues.

"I got into this business mainly because I needed the money. And for a while, I was making plenty of it. But then I became part of the New Day...and everything changed. Sure, we acted like it was all fun and games: dancing, blowing the trombone, hooting like owls. But the reality behind it wasn't funny at all. We weren't being taken seriously enough to get decent paychecks, and hawking Booty-O's and unicorn horns wasn't bringing in the dough either. Now, maybe Kofi and Xavier are happy about where they are...but that's because they're nothing but a pair of ignorant fools. If they just want to kill themselves acting all stupid, they're welcome to do just that. But not me. I have seen the light. I understand now that I deserve to get more for all the trouble I go through constantly entertaining all you fat, lazy, ungrateful, bloodsucking leeches. And Titus O'Neil agrees with me 100 percent. He promised to make me the official spokesman for his brand if I would help him take out the New Day. Now I'm earning thousands of dollars every week promoting a men's fashion line that Titus has renamed in my honor. You can say goodbye to the Titus Brand...because from now on everybody will be calling it...BRAND E!"

Big E and Titus O'Neil embrace. Then they leave the arena to even more cacophonous boos!

Oh this is actually interesting. I never thought to do a New Day break-up story. I always thought it would be Woods to leave the group, but Big E makes sense too.
